Add a personal or family calendar so its events show up in your Daily Overview.
Heads up: these steps work for personal / family calendars. Some workplaces or schools restrict publishing — if your service doesn’t show one of the options below, that calendar can’t be added.
- On a computer, open Google Calendar and hover the calendar you want under “My calendars,” then click the ⋮ → Settings and sharing.
- Scroll to the Integrate calendar section.
- Copy the Secret address in iCal format link (it ends in .ics).
- Paste it into Daily Overview as your Home calendar URL.
Tip: use the Secret iCal address, not the public one — the secret link works even for a private calendar.
- Go to iCloud.com → Calendar and sign in.
- Hover the calendar in the sidebar and click the share icon (or right-click → Share Calendar).
- Turn on Public Calendar.
- Copy the webcal:// link it shows and paste it into Daily Overview.
Tip: a webcal:// link is fine to paste as-is — we handle the conversion for you.
- Open Outlook Calendar → Settings (gear) → Calendar → Shared calendars.
- Under Publish a calendar, pick the calendar and the permission level.
- Click Publish, then copy the ICS link.
- Paste that link into Daily Overview as your Home calendar URL.
Tip: choose the ICS link (not the HTML one) — ICS is the calendar feed Daily Overview reads.
Once it’s pasted and saved, your home events appear in a Home group across your views. ☀️
